Description

The chucks are designed for mounting on universal and special lathes. The design of the chucks provides high pressure force transfer with much less vise grip wrench torque compared to concentric jaw chucks. Wedge bar chucks have high wear resistance and long service life, stability in reaching high precision of centering parts. The basic package includes a set of hardened reversing jaws that perform the function of direct and reversible jaws when reinstalling. Under the customer request chucks are packaged with additional set of non-hardened (soft) jaws and intermediate jaws for specific setups with them.

The cartridges are made on the basis of a steel case, the grooves for the cams are hardened with HDPE.
Accuracy of cartridges "N" or "P" GOST 1654.
Balancing accuracy class G 6.3 GOST ISO 1940-1.
Chuck mounting type:
1 – "C" mounting through intermediate flanges GOST 3889 or DIN 6350 on the machine spindle;
2 – "J" mounting on the flange end of the spindle according to GOST 12593 (ISO 702-3; DIN 55027);
3 – "A" mounting on the flange end of the spindle according to GOST 12595 (ISO 702-1; DIN 55026);
4 – "D" mounting on the flanged end of the spindle according to GOST 26651 (ISO 702-2; DIN 55029).
According to the design, the cartridges are made with solid or prefabricated cams (-01).

Order examples:
A chuck with a diameter of 500 mm with mounting on the flanged end of the spindle according to GOST 12595, the nominal size of the cone No. 8 with one–piece cams, accuracy class "P" - PR4-500.180.A8 "P".
A chuck with a diameter of 630 mm with mounting on the flanged end of the spindle according to GOST 12593, the nominal size of the cone No. 11 with prefabricated cams is PR4-630.254.J11-01.
